Qualification analysis

Network Qualification Analysis Saarland (NetQA)

Recognition of profession in case of missing or incomplete documents

Persons with a foreign vocational qualification have the legal right to have their training recognised in Germany. It is examined whether the foreign training is equivalent to German training. Certificates are taken as the basis.

Sometimes the existing documents are not sufficient or certificates are missing. If these cannot be procured again, the profession can be recognised through a qualification analysis.

In a qualification analysis, vocational competences, skills and abilities are tested by means of work samples, practical tasks or technical interviews. The results can lead to no equivalence, partial equivalence or full equivalence. If partial equivalence has been established, full equivalence can be achieved through adaptation qualifications.

In the project, clients are supported with regard to the application in this particular case and advised and given guidance for their participation in a qualification analysis. The costs for a qualification analysis can be fully financed under certain conditions via “Special Fund Qualification Analysis”.
