In den letzten drei Jahren wurden in Homburg bereits mehrere hundert Patientinnen und Patienten mit LBBP versorgt.<\/p><p>Im Gegensatz zur herk\u00f6mmlichen rechtsventrikul\u00e4ren Stimulation (RVP) ahmt die neue Methode die nat\u00fcrliche Erregungsausbreitung des Herzens nach und reduziert damit das Risiko einer Schrittmacher-induzierten Kardiomyopathie (PICM). Studien zeigen, dass LBBP sowohl als Erstlinientherapie zur Vermeidung einer PICM als auch als Alternative zur kardialen Resynchronisationstherapie (CRT) bei ausgew\u00e4hlten Patientinnen und Patienten eingesetzt werden kann \u2013 vor allem dann, wenn eine herk\u00f6mmliche CRT nicht m\u00f6glich ist oder nicht den gew\u00fcnschten Erfolg bringt.<\/p>\n<p>Mehr dazu <a
