Mit einer neuen Generation von metallischen Bipolarplatten f\u00fcr PEM-Brennstoffzellen zeigt Schaeffler nun seine Entwicklungskompetenz f\u00fcr die Zukunft der Wasserstoffmobilit\u00e4t. Die Platten haben ein neues, f\u00fcr die Gro\u00dfserie optimiertes Design und verwenden ein innovatives Beschichtungsverfahren f\u00fcr eine besonders lange Lebensdauer. Damit ausgestattete Stacks erreichen zudem eine rund 20 Prozent h\u00f6here Leistungsdichte als Stacks mit den Platten der Vorg\u00e4ngergeneration. Die am Standort aufgebaute Pilot-Fertigungsanlage ist Teil des Wasserstoff-Kompetenzzentrums des Unternehmens, zu dem auch zahlreiche Pr\u00fcfst\u00e4nde und Testanlagen geh\u00f6ren.
